Cookie Policy

How this website uses necessary and optional cookies.

Cookie Policy

How cookies are used on this website.

This Cookie Policy explains how Counterpart One uses cookies and similar technologies on this website. Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Similar technologies can include scripts, pixels and browser storage used to recognise a browser, remember choices or measure how a website is used.

The site uses a consent banner and preference centre. Necessary cookies are always enabled because they are required for core site functions. Analytics and marketing cookies are not pre-selected, and continuing to browse is not treated as consent.

Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity load only after you grant analytics consent. If analytics consent is not granted, the site does not intentionally load their scripts, send analytics collection requests, or create their analytics cookies.

Necessary

Required to store your cookie choices and keep the website working. These cookies cannot be switched off through the preference centre.

Analytics

Optional. Used for Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity so we can understand aggregate site usage and improve content.

Marketing

Optional and reserved for future use. The current site does not load marketing scripts or set marketing cookies.

Specific technologies and retention periods may change as browsers or analytics providers update their services. The table below summarises the current implementation of this site.

Analytics and privacy safeguards

Google Analytics 4 is configured to avoid automatic page-view duplication. The site sends page path, page location without query-string values, and page title. Custom analytics events use stable, non-personal identifiers such as form names, CTA names and page locations.

Microsoft Clarity is loaded only after analytics consent. Contact forms, careers forms and CV upload areas are marked for masking so typed content and uploaded file details are not intentionally exposed in session recordings.

The site is designed not to send names, email addresses, telephone numbers, messages, company details, CV contents, uploaded file names, authentication tokens, session identifiers or sensitive query-string values to Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity.

Changing your choices

You can accept all optional cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or save granular choices using the cookie banner or the Cookie settings control in the footer.

If you withdraw analytics consent, the site updates the saved preference, stops sending future analytics events, prevents analytics scripts from being reinitialised without renewed consent, and removes known first-party analytics cookies where practical. Necessary cookies are not deleted.

Further information

For more information about how personal data is handled, read the Privacy Policy. If you use browser settings or extensions to block cookies, some optional analytics may not run even if you consent through this site.
